What counts as a user?
A user is any account that belongs to one of your workspaces — end-users of your app, internal team members, and admins all count. Service accounts and API integrators that authenticate against the tenant also count once they're seated. Anonymous API hits do not.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
We never hard-stop your tenant in the middle of a request. When you approach a limit (users, AI tokens, CDN storage) you'll get an in-app notice and an email. Sustained overage prompts you to upgrade or attach pay-per-use AI tokens — we'll never silently bill you for surprise overages.
Can I bring my own AI tokens?
Yes. Every plan supports BYO for AI providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, and others — you keep your existing contracts and just plug the keys into your tenant. Paid plans add bundled monthly tokens on top, so you can mix included usage with BYO fallback per agent.
Do you offer annual discounts?
Yes — annual billing saves roughly two months versus monthly. The toggle is in your tenant settings under Billing once your account is set up, or ask sales when you request an offer.
How does the upgrade/downgrade flow work?
Plan changes take effect immediately from your tenant settings. Upgrades are prorated for the rest of the billing cycle; downgrades take effect at the end of the current cycle so you keep what you paid for. Your data, workspaces, and integrations are untouched — only quotas change.
Can I self-host Qelos instead of using managed?
Self-hosted deployment is available on the Enterprise plan, including on-premise and VPC options. Free/Hobby/Pro/Premium are managed tenants only — we run the gateway so your team doesn't have to operate it.
Do you offer a free trial of paid tiers?
The Free plan is the trial — it's a real production tenant with the same gateway, just capped at 100 users and BYO AI/storage. Upgrade when you outgrow it; no migration required.
What payment methods are accepted?
Credit and debit cards (via Stripe) on all paid plans. Premium and Enterprise customers can pay by invoice, ACH, or wire — talk to sales when you request an offer.
